Award Winning Chateau Kitchen The owners are a busy working couple with five daughters, who wanted an elegant formal kitchen to compliment their new "French Chateau" style home. The kitchen ceiling is 10' high and open to the family room with a 20' ceiling. To divide the rooms we devised storage "columns" out of cabinets. They give structure to both rooms and provide storage for dishes and glassware. The many unique molding and trim details used were crucial to achieving the very formal feeling the client asked for.
