Many of our clients live in older homes where
the location is perfect but the kitchen is not. We have come to
realize that kitchens today must serve many functions. Homeowners
want entertainment centers, gathering spaces and home offices, as
well as the maximum amount of storage and counter space. We also
often get requests for special spaces like breakfast stations,
coffee centers and pet feeding zones. We've found that every family's
lifestyle is unique.
Our first step is always to ask in-depth questions
before beginning design. Once we figure out the room's many
functions and traffic patterns we will design several floor plans
incorporating custom solutions to fit your family's needs.

I
enjoy kitchen design because it allows me to use my creative
side and my problem solving abilities to achieve the most
functional and beautiful environments for my clients. I love
that each day is different and that no two projects are the
same.
Catherine is a graduate of
Harrington College of Design in Chicago with a bachelor
of fine arts degree in interior design. As a child Catherine
delighted in drawing floor plans of her ideal future home
and spent much time re-arranging her parent's house. She
is extremely proficient in computerized drafting methods,
and is often complimented on the amount of detail included
in her plans. She has been designing kitchens and bathrooms
for 5 years. Catherine recently won an award from the National
Kitchen and Bath Association for a Kitchen project which
is soon to be featured in Better Homes & Gardens: Kitchen
& Bath Ideas Magazine. She is a member of The National
Kitchen and Bath Association and The American Society of
Interior Designers. |
